Purpose: To offer our citizens the opportunity to improve their overall health through nutrition and healthy eating while getting exercise by growing a garden.
Mission: To improve the health and quality of life of community residents by reducing the incidence and severity of chronic diseases and obesity through physical activity. Community garden boxes are located behind the old Springerville School located on East Main. Planting boxes are available to each participant for a donation of $15.00. An automatic watering system is available for your box. All you need to furnish are the seeds you want to grow.
