Hi! - My name is Steve West and I want to welcome you to the Town of Springerville Web site. I have been the Town Manager for 8 years. I am a 4th generation Arizonian and have worked for the town in many capacities.I believe Town government should be open and visible to the community we serve. TOWN CLERK VALENTINA CORDOVA -Valentina (known as Val in her community) is a second generation native of Springerville and now extends her family out three more generations. Val began serving her community 1987 as a clerk typist working her way up. On January 3, 1996 she was appointed to the office of Town Clerk and achieved her certification first as a Certified Municipal Clerk (CMC) then in 2009 achieved her Master Municipal Clerk (MMC) designation through the International Institute of Municipal Clerks and after many hours of training. She is also the Certified Election Director for the town and encourages residents to take an active part in their local government. “Elections are the first and foremost right we have as citizens to affect government at all levels” She enjoys providing necessary services to her community through her office including notary services free of charge.
All elections are held in the fall of each even year in the Udall-Johnson room at of Town Hall at 418 E. Main Street in Springerville. Elections are held in conjunction with Federal, State and County elections. Please reference your sample ballot for your specific voting location.
Springerville Fall Primary Elections – August (even years) next town election will be August 2018.
If you are not a registered Permanent Early Voter (PEV) please call Apache County Recorder’s Office at (800) 361-4402 or locally (928) 337-7516 to request an Early Ballot during elections or if you would like to be a permanent early voter (PEV) please call Apache County Recorder’s office for a form to register. If you are on the PEV list and you move elsewhere for the winter, please don’t forget to notify the County Recorder’s Office to change your mailing address in case there are any elections being held after you leave.
