
The Springerville Town Council consists of 4 council members, a Mayor, and Vice-Mayor (who also is a member of the council), elected from the local residents. Staggered elections are held every two years. The purpose of the Town Council is to determine policy and strategic goals, which are handed down to the Town Manger for implementation.
Town Council Meetings
Town Council meetings are held on the third Wednesday of the month at Springerville Town Hall, 418 East Main and begin at 6:00PM. Residents and the general public are welcome to attend. All Council Meetings (with the exception of Executive Sessions) are open to the public.
Pursuant to A.R.S. § 38-431.02, the following locations are designated as places where all public notices of meetings of public bodies of the city, including the City Council, boards, commissions, committees, subcommittees and agencies, shall be posted:

When are elections held?
Regular town elections are held in even-numbered years and are consolidated with federal, state, and county elections. In 2026, the Primary Election will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, and the General Election (if one is needed for the town) will be on Tuesday, November 3.
What’s on the ballot?
At the Tuesday, July 21, 2026, Primary Election, voters will select candidates for two Council seats, and one Mayor seat, all for four-year terms. (Note: A town General Election will be held only if the seats are not filled at the Primary.)
